Consulting Services
Developers, Design-Build Firms, Engineers, and other Architects use our
consulting services for special projects. Because we respect their confidentiality,
and as a matter of policy, their designs and drawings are not shown without
their permission.
A-D Studio
can also prepare preliminary drawings which are not intended for permit
submittal, but which are necessary to obtain
cost estimates, attract investors, show site and land use requirements,
and for use as marketing and sales tools.
Rendering
Services
A-D Studio now offers 3-D photo-realistic rendering services. Architectural
visualization brings 2-D floor plans and elevations to life.
After a computer model has been constructed, changes can be made to colors,
materials, windows, door, cabinets, etc. until "just right".
Interior images can show light fixtures and switches, and furnishings.
Exterior
images can show actual contours, landscaping, roads, and parking. For
added realism, a photo of your actual site can be used as a backdrop.
Detailed
and complete technical plan sets are available for review by appointment.

Architectural
Services
When A-D Studio is to sign and seal permit documents for commercial work,
it will be responsible for project design, consultant selection and coordination
of documents for building permit submittal.
Civil, structural,
mechanical, plumbing, and
electrical engineers will be retained as necessary to complete the project.
Other
professionals, such as interior designers and landscape architects, may
also be used as consultants for certain projects.
Plans
and Documents
Each project will have its own requirements
for permit submittal documents. In general,
however, a typical plan set will include:
- Subdivision,
site and foundation plans
- Floor,
roof and framing plans
- Exterior
elevations and building sections
- Details
for cabinets, stairs and ramps
- Typical
wall sections and material notes
- Schedules
and specifications
- Signage,
egress and accessibility requirements
